The Association of Friends of the Segovia Museum has organized a series of concerts for young musicians' Music at the Museum ", in order to provide an opportunity for young musicians of Segovia to have a space in which to perform works to the public.

The first concert will take place this Sunday, February 21 , in the Church of San Juan de los Caballeros (Segovia Museum). In it students of the Conservatory of Music Segovia performing works by Ian MacDonald, L. Van Beethoven, Francis Poulenc, Fernando Sor, Edvard Grieg and Max Bruch addition to the popular songs 'Nana' and 'Anda Jaleo' de Lorca. The concert starts at 12:00 h. noon, and admission is free until all places.

to this will be followed by concerts in the months of March, April and May, of the Rye Country Day School Concert Choir, teachers of the Conservatory of Music in Segovia, Vicente UNON teacher at the piano and Miguel Angel Foundation Colmenero de Madrid.

This series' Music in the Museum "is consistent with the principles governing Association of Friends of the Museum of Segovia, which are to support and participate in activities organized by the museum, and to carry out actions and edit scientific publications that deal with matters of the museum, such as archeology, history, art, ethnology or industrial heritage. They are also among the aims of the association to promote and conduct cultural and artistic contribution to the training and personality development and expansion of personal and scientific culture.
